The Grace & Moxie Life blog is all about encouraging women to live boldly, be individuals, learn from one another, lift one another up, and offer each other and ourselves grace along the way. Most importantly, it’s about Jesus being the center of our lives. Not another category in our lives, but the filter that every other category of our lives operates through.
My passions are sharing Jesus with the world, health/fitness, nature, coaching, writing, and relationships. You can expect to see a little bit of everything here relating to our daily lives and the lives of those around us, with God at the center of it all.
I’ve been married for 13 years to that cutie in the photo with me and we have two dogs, Bentley and Sophie (who will probably never be pictured together in anything other than a blur). I’m a certified personal trainer, certified life coach, writer, and virtual assistant. I wear a lot of “hats” and my writing results from either experience or research, usually a little of both. I am a researcher and planner at my core. I’m not sure I could stop being those things if I tried. The coach in me loves to teach what I learn. Put all of that together and you get the motivation behind this blog.

Living with the moxie that comes from the spirit of God living within is.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. 1 Timothy 1:7 AMP
(in Christian belief) the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
Living in the cover of his mercy and grace and extending that same [free and unmerited] grace to others. Be merciful (responsive, compassionate, tender) just as your [heavenly] Father is merciful. Luke 6:36 AMP
